The word Apoteose comes from the Greek apothéosis, through the Latin apotheose. Meaning "glorification" or "final glorious scene". Thus was named the Apotheosis Square, situated at the end of the Sapucaí Sambadrome in Rio de Janeiro, the place of arrival of the parades of the samba schools in Rio’s carnaval. The equipment Apotheosis is a platform for multiple possibilities to play, slip, balance and climb. Its design is inspired by the parabolic arc of Apoteose Square, architectural icon of Oscar Niemeyer.
